The Dragon Meets His Match

As the battle between Ash's Charizard and Jon Dixon's Rapidash near its end, the two titans, after exchanging blow after blow, come together and enter a flaming Seismic Toss. The two become slam into the ground, and slowing start to get up. Charizard gets up quicker, and prepares to end it with a Dragon Rage. However, Rapidash reacts quickly, and, once again, bites the fire-flying Pokemon in the neck. Beaten and bruised, Charizard tries to break fare, but, after twisting and turning by both fire types, succumbs to his wounds. The flames, which were still surrounding them, begin to fade, as everyone see that, when the smoke clears, Rapidash has Charizard pinned. The judge declared Charizard unable to battle, and Jon Dixon the winner of the match. Afterwards, after consulting with their trainers, Charizard goes over to the Fire Horse Pokemon, and properly concedes defeats, and Rapidash promises him that he won't lose for the rest of the tournament. Of course, Rapidash wouldn't break it. What noone realized before the battle was that Rapidash was a former leader of a herd. Thus, he dealt with Wild Charizards in the past. Charizard had never faced a Rapidash before. That one advantage may have give the fight to Rapidash, but everyone knew that this battle could have ended either way...
